Dear Parents and Carers,

I hope this letter finds you well.

I’m writing to inform you of some exciting changes to our after-school clubs. As you know, Tyndale Primary has generously funded these clubs for nearly two years, making them completely free of charge. However, with the increasing demand and interest from families, we’ve decided to introduce a small fee to help cover costs to enable us to increase the capacity.

To ensure as many children as possible can benefit from these valuable opportunities, we’ve significantly increased the capacity of each club from Term 3 to 28 places. This is a substantial increase compared to the current waiting list.

To keep the clubs affordable, we’ve negotiated a special rate of £1.20 per session, a significant reduction from the usual Swift Sports price of £4.75. While we understand the financial pressures many families are facing, unfortunately, we are unable to offer reduced fees for Pupil Premium recipients due to the significant subsidy already in place.

The clubs on offer are:

• Monday: FUNdamental Games Club (previously Skools Out)
• Tuesday: Intro to Martial Arts (a blend of gymnastics and martial arts)
• Wednesday: Football
• Thursday: Tennis and Badminton Club

To cater to different preferences, children will also have the option of engaging in more relaxed activities like colouring, word searches, and other fun paper-based tasks. This provides a flexible and enjoyable option for those who may prefer a quieter activity.

To ensure fairness in accessing these clubs, we will be launching a new booking system on Sunday, December 22nd at 10 AM. A reminder with a link will be sent to you at 9 AM on the same day.
