Upcoming Maternity Leaves at Tyndale Primary

Dear Parents/Carers,

I am writing to inform you of some exciting news within our Tyndale family.  Ms Stewart (Year 4 Teacher) and Ms Cox (EYFS Teacher) have recently announced their pregnancies and we are absolutely delighted for them!

We know that continuity in your child’s education is important, and so we are writing to you as early as possible to let you know the plans we will be putting in place. We will be advertising for two maternity cover positions just before the February half term.  We anticipate that the maternity leaves will begin sometime between the beginning and middle of July at a similar time.  The maternity posts will start from September. This means there may be some staffing adjustments required during the final few weeks of Term 6, leading up to the summer break.  We will, of course, keep you fully informed of any specific changes as they are confirmed.

I want to reassure you that we are committed to ensuring a smooth transition for your children.  We will be seeking candidates who align with our school’s vision and values, and who are dedicated to providing the same high-quality education that your children deserve. The placement of these maternity cover roles in September might not necessarily be the same as the year group’s the teachers are currently in this year.
